Whether you’re training for an athletic event, going through the rigors of school, trying to conceive, experiencing sleep deprivation due to your child’s discomfort (we could help both of you), going through hormonal changes, experiencing a chronic condition (such as autoimmunity) or having pain from an injury (chronic or sports related), we are here to help you heal.
We achieve this by working with various traditional and modern methods, seeking to understand the problem in depth, providing treatment and teaching you appropriate self-care, including collaboration with other healthcare practitioners and modalities, putting your healing at the forefront of what we do.
About Whole Life Acupuncture
Alex’s interest in healing began around age 10 in the former Soviet Union, when he first started practicing martial arts, and was introduced to the energy systems of the body by his instructor.

Alex’s second and fateful encounter with Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture was following a significantly stressful period of time living in Israel, and the incredible relief and healing it provided, which became a driving force in his healing journey.
Alex began his formal Chinese Medicine training in Israel in 2002 at the East-West Center for Classical Chinese Medicine, during which he also maintained a busy bodywork practice. His training included Classical Chinese Medicine (ancient and modern acupuncture, manual techniques, herbology, nutrition counseling, exercise, meditation and a significant amount of conventional medical education).
Following graduation in 2006 Alex has continued his education on a regular basis, including through apprenticeship, continuing to study more Classical Chinese Medicine and modern Acupuncture and energy healing methods at East-West and other institutions, while running a fully holistic clinic.
Alex works with patients across all age groups and levels of health, often providing treatments to whole families, including using non-needle techniques for children and more sensitive patients.
After moving to the U.S. in 2015, Alex went through another round of Chinese Medical School in MN, to gain the necessary certification and licensure to practice in the US and in Minnesota. He then worked at the Acupuncture Center of Minneapolis for several years, and also at Natural Smiles Dental Care in Shoreview, a holistic dental office, where Alex is providing treatments that address dental concerns in the context of whole body/mind health.

Sessions include acupuncture and may include other techniques, such as cupping, manual techniques, qigong, specific exercises, meditation and more, based on the treatment plan and the need at the time of the appointment.
